When I began my bodybuilding journey 15 years ago and as I began to push myself physically I quickly realized that the tools I was acquiring along the way were the same set of tools that I could throughout other areas of life. I’m grateful for the fact that bodybuilding had a profound and positive effect on my life. Learning how to make sacrifices to achieve a desired result, learning to embrace discomfort and pain, being discipline, and stepping outside of my comfort zone to step on stage among the best in the business on the competitive stage is very similar to achieving success in a very competitive world. Even more important is our ability to stay MENTALLY healthy.
Our Mental health is just as important as our physical health and more often than not they go hand in hand. More and more studies show that individuals who use their bodies physically on a regular basis are happier, calmer, have more clarity and lead more fulfilling lives.
